BACKGROUND

I am a native English speaker, from Ireland, and have recently moved to Bordeaux after ten years in Berlin.

I started my career as a copywriter and worked at several leading advertising agencies in Dublin, creating compelling campaigns and content for clients including Allied Irish Banks, Johnson & Johnson, Irish Distilleries, KPMG, Kellogg’s, and Lever Brothers. In 2009, I qualified as a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language and have since worked in Poland, Latvia, Germany, and now France.

During my time in Latvia, I also set up my own company, proofreading and editing texts for companies and individuals, and writing corporate communications for business clients. I’m currently working as a copywriter on a contractual basis for Johnson Controls, and as a freelance translator (German to English) for several companies in Berlin.
